Hello there! My name is Janelle Bailey and I'm a sister missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission.
I love this gospel. It is my pride and joy. In my church we believe in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. We believe that the family is the most important thing that we have, on this earth and in heaven. We believe that we will live with our Father, our Savior, and our families forever. We believe in the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ. We believe in modern-day prophets. We believe in kindness, charity, service, and love.
As perfect and as simple as the gospel is, I've had struggles to gain my own testimony of it all, rather than relying on what my parents believed and taught in our home. I discovered on my own that when I'm following the commandments and doing what's asked of our members, I'm the happiest and life seems to be easier. I know that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father, that he watches over me, and that he truly loves and cares for me.
I'm out teaching this gospel because I know how much joy this church brings. I want to share that happiness with the world. I want people to understand how phenomenal this church is. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to teach and to serve. Missionary work is hard, but it's perfect and I know The Lord has prepared people in Oklahoma specifically for me. I feel beyond blessed to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I hope to bring the happiness I feel in this gospel to those in search of it.
